Reiss Expands Footprint with Flagship Store Opening at centre:mk
Reiss, the prestigious international fashion brand, marks a significant milestone with the inauguration of its flagship store at centre:mk, a prominent regional location.
This strategic move follows the trend of several leading fashion brands, including Mango, H&M, Ted Baker, and Charles Tyrwhitt, establishing their presence at the bustling Milton Keynes mall over the past year.
Occupying an impressive 1,884 square feet, the Reiss store commands a prime position on the mall’s premium Silbury Arcade. Inside, patrons can explore a comprehensive range of offerings, encompassing menswear, womenswear, accessories, and childrenswear.
The store’s interior design exudes an aura of minimalist sophistication, artfully blending bleached wood and metallic fixtures. Designed in collaboration between Reiss’s creative director, James Spreckley, and D-Raw Architects, the store not only reflects contemporary fashion sensibilities but also champions sustainability through its choice of materials and design ethos.
Kevin Duffy, Centre Director at centre:mk, expressed immense pride in the mall’s continued success, stating, «centre:mk consistently surpasses benchmarks for foot traffic and sales conversion. With one of the strongest line-ups of anchor brands in the UK, centre:mk is unequivocally a preferred destination for leading domestic and international brands. Reiss’s decision to open a key regional store here underscores our status as a dominant retail destination in the UK.»
In recent developments, the UK’s high street fashion giant, Next, has increased its stake in Reiss. Next invested £128 million to boost its ownership from 51% to 72%. Simultaneously, the Reiss family’s stake in the business will rise to 22%, with Reiss management retaining the remaining shares.
This expansion highlights Reiss’s commitment to growth and its strategic positioning in key regional markets.
