Primark, a key player in the retail sector, is set to fortify its footprint in Italy by unveiling plans to open five new stores in strategic locations across the country. This strategic expansion represents a significant investment of €50 million, solidifying Primark’s commitment to growth and enhancing its position in the Italian market.
Led by Luca Ciuffreda, Director of Primark Italy, this expansion initiative follows the brand’s consistent success since its debut in Arese in 2016. Over the next few years, Primark’s new stores will be strategically positioned in four new cities: Porta a Mare shopping centre (Livorno), Metropolis shopping centre, Rende (Cosenza), Maximall shopping centre, Pontecagnano Faiano (Salerno), and a city centre store in Genoa.
Incorporating the latest retail innovations and drawing inspiration from Italian style and architecture, these new stores will feature cutting-edge elements. Notably, they will be equipped with LED lighting and introduce self-service checkouts, marking a pioneering move in Italy’s retail landscape.
Primark’s proactive approach to expansion aligns with its commitment to offering modern, innovative retail experiences tailored to evolving consumer preferences. This strategic investment underscores Primark’s dedication to staying at the forefront of the retail industry in Italy.
For fashion-forward shoppers and enthusiasts, Primark’s new stores promise to deliver an unparalleled shopping experience, blending style, technology, and convenience.
