This outstanding growth can be attributed to the exceptional performance in the U.S. market, particularly with brands like Donna Karan/DKNY, Guess, and Ferragamo, and robust gains in Europe.
Dominating the U.S. Fragrance Market
Inter Parfums achieved a remarkable 64% increase in U.S. net sales, soaring to $135 million, a significant rise from the previous year’s $82 million. Donna Karan/DKNY, Guess, and Ferragamo delivered exceptional growth rates of 230%, 59%, and 55% respectively, which were key drivers of this impressive growth. The addition of Donna Karan/DKNY to the portfolio in July last year proved to be a pivotal moment in the company’s year-over-year success.
In Q3, Inter Parfums unveiled Guess Originals, a collection of gender-inclusive fragrances, and introduced the first brand extension for DKNY, Be Delicious Orchard St. Both have experienced tremendous success, solidifying Donna Karan/DKNY as the second-largest brand in the U.S.-based operations.
Thriving in the European Market
Across the Atlantic, Inter Parfums experienced an 18% surge in European-based sales, reaching $233 million. All brands witnessed significant top-line growth. Coach, Montblanc, and Jimmy Choo took the lead with sales increases of 32%, 20%, and 6% respectively. Recent launches, including Jimmy Choo Rose Passion, Montblanc Signature Absolue, and Coach Green and Love, have consistently delivered strong performances.
Even mid-sized brands like Lanvin, Kate Spade, Rochas, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Karl Lagerfeld achieved noteworthy sales growth.
