Explore the vibrant world of Brazilian fashion and lifestyle as FARM Rio debuts its inaugural standalone store in Europe, situated on the renowned King’s Road in Chelsea. This significant milestone, marking FARM Rio’s 100th store worldwide, is a strategic move in the brand’s global expansion.
The immersive space, a collaboration with Brazilian architect Marcelo Rosenbaum, brings an authentic Brazilian experience to London’s streets. From hand-painted tropical wallpaper to buriti straw fitting rooms and a striking 26-meter marquetry-crafted panel, every detail captures the essence of Brazilian nature.
Amazonian artist Maqueson Pereira da Silva’s environmentally-conscious marquetry artwork serves as a love letter to Brazil’s landscape, creating a unique and sustainable focal point within the store.
FARM Rio’s King’s Road location will showcase the full range of collections, featuring an exclusive selection curated for the space. Limited-edition pieces, such as the ‘London Goes Bananas’ version, pay tribute to the lively city, blending classic checked patterns with tropical flair on a scarf, silkscreen tote bag, and T-shirt.
Co-founder and Creative Director Kátia Barros expresses her excitement, stating, «Launching a store in another major fashion capital across the ocean is a dream come true. This marks a new chapter for our brand, creating a community and bringing local creatives closer. Our space is set to host many special moments throughout 2024.»
