Fabletics, renowned for its strong presence in the UK, is embarking on an ambitious journey into the European B2B market. The activewear brand has handpicked Thomas Fröhlke as its new Vice-President Wholesale Europe to spearhead this expansion. Fröhlke joins Fabletics following a successful stint at Hunter Boot Ltd in the UK, where he held the prestigious position of Head of Sales International.
Bringing over 14 years of invaluable experience in the international fashion retail arena, including pivotal roles at esteemed brands like Canada Goose and Ralph Lauren, Fröhlke is ideally poised to navigate Fabletics’ wholesale ambitions. His tenure at Hunter, recently acquired by Authentic Brands Group, witnessed his adept management of a multifaceted sales team, resulting in the brand’s impressive territorial expansion and enhanced sales revenue through strategic partnerships and digital collaborations.
Fröhlke’s pivotal role at Fabletics is set to commence in October, with his base of operations at the brand’s European headquarters located in Berlin, Germany. His mandate encompasses the establishment of the B2B department and the forging of dynamic trading partnerships across the region.
Eager to embrace this exciting new chapter, Fröhlke expressed, «I eagerly anticipate joining Fabletics as it evolves from a D2C business to B2B sales, and as we venture into this new realm for Europe. Fabletics, armed with its substantial brand recognition and an extensive customer base, presents boundless opportunities for our new trading partners, following nearly a decade of exclusive online sales via the Fabletics website in Europe.»
Mark Ralea, Fabletics’ Europe General Manager, added, «With brand awareness exceeding 50% among women in the UK and the resounding success of our Fabletics retail store in London, expanding our retail footprint across Europe is the logical progression. We extend a warm welcome to Thomas Fröhlke, a seasoned leader, whose wealth of expertise will enable Fabletics to introduce its brand to a broader audience through strategic collaborations with premier retail destinations in European urban hubs.»
