On Tuesday at 10:45 am, a solemn farewell will take place at the Monza Cathedral to honor the life of Eugenio Canali, a luminary in the world of Italian luxury fashion. Mr. Canali, who held the esteemed position of honorary chairman within the renowned Canali enterprise, peacefully passed away on August 25, as confirmed by the Italian press during the past weekend.
Eugenio Canali, an integral part of the second generation of the Canali dynasty, joined forces with his brothers Genesio and Giuseppe to carry forward the legacy of a company originally founded in 1934 in Triuggio by Giacomo and Giovanni Canali. His leadership, especially during the transformative 1960s, played a pivotal role in the industrial site development within Lombardy’s Brianza region.
Now, the baton is passed to the capable hands of the third generation, led by CEO Stefano Canali, supported by siblings Marco, Paolo, Maria Grazia, and Elisabetta.
