Today’s cover story features Hanna Gerasimenko — a cosmetic doctor, founder of her own medical company, entrepreneur, mother of two daughters, and a woman who manages to do it all without losing herself. We had the pleasure of speaking with Hanna about how she balances her career and family life, what inspires her in medicine, why honesty and care are the foundation of her practice, and how her own journey influenced her daughters to follow a similar path.
This conversation is about inner harmony, passion for one’s work, and the quiet strength of a woman who leads with love. And we’re excited to share it with you.
You’re a cosmetic doctor, an entrepreneur, a mother of two daughters, and a wife. How do you manage to combine all these roles and still stay in harmony with yourself?
You know, sometimes I’m amazed myself at how I manage to do it all. But for me, it’s not about a perfect balance in the traditional sense — it’s about living with love. Love for my work, for myself, and for my family. I’ve learned to listen to myself, to pause when needed, and not to demand perfection. My family fills me up, my profession inspires me, and that inner harmony helps me stay grounded and energized.

Your daughters also chose a medical path. In your opinion, what motivated them the most — your example, or something else?
I believe my example had a huge influence. Medicine became my third degree — I entered medical university at the age of 30. It was a very conscious and deeply personal decision. When your children see that you genuinely love what you do, that your eyes light up when you talk about work — they feel it. My daughters saw that my job became my passion, and perhaps that’s what sparked their interest in medicine.

How did your journey in cosmetology begin, and what was the turning point in your career?
It all started with a dream — to combine medicine and aesthetics, to help women not just look better, but feel more confident. The turning point came when I decided to open my own medical company — a small, cozy space where I could bring my vision of modern cosmetology to life. That step felt bold, but deeply right. It was the moment I truly felt fulfilled professionally.

What values and principles do you build your medical company around? What does a “successful practice” mean to you?
For me, success means that patients come back — not just for procedures, but for the experience. When they feel seen, heard, understood, and cared for — that’s true success. In my practice, I stand by three key values: honesty, evidence-based medicine, and sincerity. No pressure, no empty promises. I often say: beauty isn’t a trend — it’s self-care. And our mission is to be there for our patients along that journey.
What do you dream of now — as a woman, as a mother, as a professional?
I dream of staying in the flow. As a woman — of feeling even more connected with myself. As a mother — of seeing my daughters grow into confident, fulfilled, happy women. And as a professional — of opening new horizons, mentoring others, growing my company, and creating more value for women. My dream is to live with a sense of meaning in everything I do.
