In a historic move, Anthony Vaccarello, Creative Director of Saint Laurent, takes the helm, becoming the first designer to lead and mentor the winners. This milestone pays homage to the legacy of Pierre Bergé, a key figure in Andam’s inception.
Andam, synonymous with nurturing emerging designers, offers an impressive 700,000 euros in prize money, maintaining its commitment to fostering talent. Anthony Vaccarello’s selection marks a significant shift, underscoring the competition’s evolution.
To celebrate Andam’s 35th anniversary, a series of initiatives, collaborations, pop-ups, and special projects will unfold throughout 2024. Vaccarello will unveil the jury in February, inviting aspiring designers to submit entries online at andam.fr until March 31, 2024.
Stay tuned as the finalists, announced in late May, anticipate the jury’s decision on June 27. The coveted prizes include the Andam Grand Prize (300,000 euros), Special Grand Prize (100,000 euros), Pierre Bergé Prize (100,000 euros), Fashion Accessories Prize (100,000 euros), and Innovation Prize (100,000 euros).
