Anastasia Mohylova is a vibrant personality for whom creativity has become a way to feel and express the power of feminine energy. Her latest photoshoot in a swimming pool, taken underwater, was not only an artistic experiment but also a symbolic journey into her inner world. In this conversation, Anastasiashares her opinion about harmony, feminine strength, and the inspiration that water brings.
On Feminine Energy
– Anastasia, how do you feel feminine energy in your life?
Feminine energy for me is an invisible force that both drives and gently guides. It manifests in the way I care for myself and my loved ones, in my ability to empathize while staying strong. It shows up in creativity, in sensing things beyond words, in supporting, nurturing, and inspiring. It is my inner space of tenderness and strength at the same time — a special state when I allow myself to be authentic, without masks, in softness, in freedom, in trust in life, and in the ability to find grounding in my own heart.
– What helps you maintain inner strength and inspiration?
Discipline and the ability to listen to myself. I draw strength from my goals and from taking responsibility for myself. Inspiration comes from simple things — traveling, the beauty of nature, spending time with animals, heartfelt conversations with people, and moments when I allow myself to simply live, feel, and enjoy the sensations.
– In your opinion, what role does feminine energy play in art and creativity?
Feminine energy adds depth and sensitivity to art. It gives space for intuition, symbols, and subtle nuances that cannot be measured by logic. In creativity, it manifests as the ability to convey emotion, create an atmosphere of sensitivity, and infuse a work with the warmth of the soul.
– Which moments make you feel most feminine?
I feel my femininity most when I allow myself to simply be a tender woman — in softness, in caring, in listening and accepting, in compassion and support. Also when I am creating, moving, or connecting with nature. In these moments, natural harmony and inner beauty reveal themselves.
– What advice would you give to women seeking harmony with themselves?
Learn to listen to yourself — your needs, your emotions, your desires. Take care of yourself and treat yourself kindly. Don’t compare yourself to others — instead, discover your own uniqueness and follow your own path. Harmony is born where there is self-love, self-acceptance, and trust in life.
On Underwater Photography
– Why did you choose water for the photoshoot?
For me, water is freedom, endless movement, and at the same time, depth. In it, boundaries and conventions disappear — only authenticity remains. That’s why water became the perfect space for this special shoot.
– What feelings did you experience while diving in the pool?
At first, on the surface, I was afraid of “failing,” of not looking beautiful. But after the first dive, each immersion felt like diving into my own inner world: calmness, silence, a sense of disconnect from the outside, and complete trust in water. While posing, I didn’t think about movements — I just surrendered to water. That’s why every move felt fluid, every emotion more vivid.
– Was it difficult to pose underwater?
Yes, very difficult. Honestly, it was the most challenging shoot I’ve ever done. It’s a completely different experience: the body behaves differently, breathing is limited, movements slow down. But this very difficulty makes the process unique — you learn to trust water, let go of control, and find beauty in naturalness.
– What does this photoshoot symbolize for you?
For me, this shoot symbolizes rebirth. When you dive into water, it feels like purification — and when you rise, you emerge renewed: freer, more authentic, and more confident.
– Which underwater image is dearest to you and why?
The one where I look the most open and natural, without excessive posing — just in contact with water.
Because that’s where I felt most alive and harmonious.
The Connection Between Water and Femininity
– Water is a symbol of femininity. How do you see this connection?
For me, water and femininity are inseparable. Water is gentle yet powerful, soft yet unstoppable — it adapts, it embraces, it flows around obstacles and at the same time shapes landscapes. This is how I see feminine energy: flexible, sensitive, full of intuition, and at the same time strong enough to transform everything around it. Water teaches us to let go, to trust, and to flow with life — just as feminine nature does.
