The Barcelona shopping center updates its offer with two operations: the first opening of the Hoff sneakers brand in the Catalan capital and the relocation of Ecoalf, which moves from a store of just 40 square meters to another that exceeds 300.
The Alicante-based Hoff, in full expansion process and with the goal of adding 20 new spaces this year, has premiered in L’Illa Diagonal its new commercial concept, conceived by the creative studio CuldeSac and with which it leaves behind its minimalist spirit and soft tones to bet everything on an interior design of energetic colors and curved shapes.
The opening of this establishment serves as a preview of Hoff’s activity in Barcelona: next June, it will open its flagship store in the city, on Rambla Cataluña. At the same time, the brand is finalizing its first store in Seville and already has stores in Madrid, Palma, Bilbao and Valencia.
In the international market, the brand continues to consolidate its position with retailers such as Nordstrom, Printemps and Bloomingdale’s, and plans to open five stores outside Spain this year.
For its part, the sustainable DNA firm Ecoalf has just raised the shutter on its new store in L’Illa Diagonal. It is a 320-square-meter store that replaces the brand’s previous store in the same shopping center and incorporates its flagship store concept.
Present in more than 1,500 stores, Ecoalf has its own boutiques in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Tokyo and Berlin. In economic terms, it closed last year with sales of 39 million euros and aims to grow by 50% by 2022.
