Takko, the German textile discounter, has appointed Martino Pessina as its new CEO. Pessina, previously the Chief Commercial Officer overseeing omnichannel business at Danish jewellery manufacturer Pandora, brings over 20 years of experience in leadership roles within the fashion and jewellery sectors.
Before joining Pandora, Pessina held key management positions at H&M, including the role of President of North America. During his tenure, he managed operations in the United States, overseeing sales exceeding four billion dollars and leading a team of 20,000 employees. Pessina holds a Master of Science in International Business Management from Bocconi University in Milan.
Expressing his excitement, Pessina stated, «I am delighted to begin my new journey with Takko Fashion and look forward to working with my new colleagues to further develop this successful brand.»
