With an impressive background at esteemed brands like Saucony, Nike, and Timberland, Cavassa brings a wealth of experience to her new leadership role.
As PrimaLoft’s CEO Mike Joyce remains dedicated to steering the company’s long-term business strategy, Cavassa will take charge of day-to-day operations. Her illustrious career includes a notable five-year stint as President at Saucony, where she played a pivotal role in driving the brand’s success. Prior to this, Cavassa held key positions at Brooks Sports, Timberland, Nike, Reebok, and Eddie Bauer.
Joyce expressed confidence in Cavassa’s appointment, stating, «Our company’s purpose is to balance the intersection of people, products, and the planet. Anne embodies these beliefs and brings extensive leadership experience from renowned active lifestyle brands. This is an ideal opportunity to bring in a proven leader to help propel PrimaLoft forward to the next level, and for me, she was the only choice.»
In a commitment to sustainability, PrimaLoft introduced a groundbreaking insulating material, PrimaLoft Ocean Bound Plastic, derived from plastic waste collected near coastlines. This underscores PrimaLoft’s dedication to environmental responsibility. Notably, PrimaLoft underwent a change in ownership last year, becoming part of the U.S. group Compass Diversified (Codi), which reported robust net sales of $2.3 billion in fiscal 2022.
This strategic move comes as PrimaLoft continues its commitment to innovation and sustainability in the dynamic realm of insulating fabrics.
