Clarks Originals, renowned for its dynamic collaborations, returns with a double dose of fashion innovation. The iconic footwear brand partners with artist and footwear designer Vandy, and rekindles its creative alliance with prominent American fashion designer Ronnie Fieg for an exciting 8th Street edition.
This collaboration marks a pivotal moment, precisely one year after the initial partnership when Vandy hand-customized 200 pairs of Clarks’ iconic Wallabees boot style, adorning them with intricate skeleton detailing on the vamp.
The spotlight now shifts to Vandy’s distinctive line, Vandy The Pink. In this second installment of the collaboration, Vandy once again infuses his artistic vision into the Wallabee boot, this time featuring his unique burger motif—a playful nod to his recent collaboration with fast-food giant McDonald’s.
Clarks describes Vandy’s footwear as «eye-catching, whimsical, and refined,» injecting a playful and bold element into everyday fashion. With a rich cultural background, Vandy reinterprets timeless classics in unexpected ways.
The Wallabee Burger, a central piece in this collaboration, reimagines the boot using smooth tan suede, ingeniously transforming the silhouette into a bun. White embroidery on the vamp mimics sesame seeds, authentically capturing the essence of a burger bun. Each pair includes classic dual-branded fobs and four playful additions, reminiscent of key burger ingredients—tomato, lettuce, cheese, and a patty. This fusion showcases Vandy The Pink’s innovative spirit while upholding Clarks Originals’ dedication to craftsmanship.
Simultaneously, the Ronnie Fieg/8th Street collaboration renews the enduring partnership between Ronnie Fieg and Clarks Originals. They breathe new life into the Lockhill and Rossendale styles and introduce the fresh silhouette, the Rushden.
Each model retains Clarks’ signature crepe outsole and prominently features custom ‘Ronnie Fieg for Clarks Originals’ debossed co-branding throughout. The Lockhill, recognized for its color-blocked design, receives updates in materials and color palettes. The Mustard version showcases a soft suede upper, while the Scarab edition boasts a hairy suede finish. Both models sport Clarks’ wordmark debossed on the front mudguard and classic Lockhill branding on the side panel, in addition to co-branded fobs.
The Ronnie Fieg for Clarks Originals Rossendale, now available in a mid-cut silhouette, comes in two iterations—an inviting Chocolate colorway with a leather upper and shearling lining, and a Mustard version featuring a suede upper and leather lining.
Adding to the excitement, the Rushden Boot, a brand-new Clarks silhouette inspired by military combat boots, is presented in leather and suede renditions. The boot showcases a distinctive wavy, contorted crepe outsole and unique webbed heel pulls.
The Lockhill model is already available at Kith stores and online, with the Rossendale and Rushden versions scheduled for release on October 27th at the same destinations.
Clarks Originals continues to lead the way in design and collaboration, offering fresh and captivating fashion experiences to its audience.
