Mr Porter, the premier destination for luxury menswear under YNAP, is making waves in the fashion world with a series of exclusive collaborations. The latest addition is an exclusive Tom Ford capsule for the autumn season, featuring a remarkable 43-piece collection of ready-to-wear and accessories.
Designed with Tom Ford’s signature «elevated and modern approach to menswear,» this collection draws inspiration from London’s iconic mod and punk era, emphasizing sharp tailoring and outerwear in a stylish monochromatic color palette. Timeless English fabrics like flannel, puppytooth, and herringbone are featured prominently.
This exclusive collection encompasses 36 ready-to-wear pieces, three shoe designs, three ties, and one scarf, all celebrating iconic Tom Ford styles. Notable pieces include black leather and shearling peacoats, a shearling collar flight jacket, psychedelic swirl tuxedo jackets, a gingham blazer, black and white micro design suits, and mohair silk roll neck knitwear.
This exclusive capsule marks a significant milestone for Mr Porter and pays homage to the first Tom Ford collection introduced in 2015, a testament to Mr Porter’s dedication to high-end collaborations.
The launch is accompanied by a global marketing campaign across Mr Porter’s editorial and marketing channels commencing on October 23.
Furthermore, Mr Porter’s in-house brand, Mr P, introduces exclusive capsule collaborations as part of its annual Go Out series. This initiative raises awareness and funds for Mr Porter Health in Mind, supporting men’s mental and physical health programs.
These collaborative collections include partnerships with Swedish outdoor brand Houdini and Italian performance footwear brand Diemme, both celebrating performance wear and the great outdoors. Profits from each item sold during the first two weeks on Mr Porter and Houdini’s websites will be donated to the Fund.
The Houdini collaboration showcases seven ready-to-wear items in exclusive colorways, featuring a red recycled polyester insulation jacket, a sea-blue shell anorak, and grey softshell trousers, alongside merino wool pieces perfect for layering. Each item boasts special trims, including Mr P x Houdini co-branded zip-pulls and labels.
The Diemme collaboration centers on three hiking boots, including the Roccia Vet boots in black or bourdeaux, and the Roccia Basso boots in brown. Each style proudly displays the Mr P logo on the boot tongue and exclusive orange details on the footbeds, midsole stripes, and laces, in an exclusive partnership with Mr P.
Notably, Mr Porter has also announced the second edition of its custom-designed collaboration with the New York-based podcast Throwing Fits. Curated by hosts Lawrence Schlossman and James Harris, this collaboration features a selection of products from both established and emerging menswear designers.
The collection showcases 10 brands and over 100 pieces of ready-to-wear, shoes, and accessories. It is accompanied by a comprehensive global marketing campaign and a hero story in The Journal, featuring Schlossman, Harris, and their network of friends.
These exclusive collaborations exemplify Mr Porter’s unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional, fashion-forward collections to its discerning clientele.
